For example, a study conducted by Curant Health showed that in a cohort of HIV patients on highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART), MTM with consistent patient outreach and customized prescription packaging improved medication adherence by 28%. The study also found that the number of patients demonstrating 95% adherence improved 69%.
